On Newsmaker: US Expat Rocker with own Aussie Charity flies with Icarus
After taking the time to establish his charity, LandAid (www.landaid.org.au) to help support and aid regional Australia, US expat rocker Jac Dalton turns back to his musical passion with a new live band that will be giving his album, Icarus, its live debut – and doing so in impressive style – in Perth on March 3rd at the Pace Road Tavern, Medina, supporting Premier Led Zeppelin Show, Lady Zeppelin.
Icarus was the result of the collaboration of Jac Dalton, WA guitar shaman Graham Greene and producer Darren Mullan, the meeting of Dalton and Greene coming at the insistence of Global Thunda Network founder Nana Mex in 2008, and being a first for GTN.
The 7 piece Australian band features the twin guitar attack of Graham Greene and Annemieke (Guitar Gods Australia) and the vocal talents of Donna G. (Lady Zeppelin) combined with members of Lady Zeppelin and the Graham Greene Band to produce a tight, powerful rock’n’roll unit to be reckoned with.
The Jac Dalton band has recently picked up national and international management.
